It all started with a Winnie the Pooh journal.
A couple days before Michel’s 8th birthday, she was gifted her very first journal. This journal soon became a catalyst to a world of self-expression, non-judgment, and vulnerabilities. Journaling became second nature and soon her journaling turned into some poetry. Michel first performed her poetry in graduate school and later honed her craft in 2017. In 2018, she self-published her first book: “STOP, LOVE, and LISTEN”, a collection of poems and journal entries that focus on being present in life, following intuition, and self-love. In 2021, she published her second book: “Lost & Found” with iiPublishing. “Lost & Found” is a poetic journey that focuses on finding oneself again amidst heartbreak, insecurities, and self-doubt. Michel has published work in five anthologies.
